A note to our Barber Oil & Propane customers
The Barber Oil & Propane name has meant something in Ebensburg since 1966.
Barber Oil & Propane has been part of Ebensburg since 1966, and the Barber Oil & Propane name has meant something around here for a long time. Our family bought this business in 2024, and we have been proud to run it ever since. Given the significance of our history, we wanted to communicate an important change to you directly.
Starting October 13, Barber Oil & Propane will operate under a new name: Stuck Energy. Our office, our phone number, and the people you know are not going anywhere.
While our name is changing, everything else stays the same.
Same family. Same service. One name.
Why Are We Rebranding?
Hear from Steve Stuck on what this change means and why we are making it.
One name puts all of our strength in one place.
Over the years our family of companies has grown across Pennsylvania, Maryland, West Virginia, and Ohio, and we have done it under a handful of different names. That makes it hard for people to see the whole team behind the trucks.
One name, Stuck Energy, lets us put all of our strength in one place. For our customers, that means more trucks, more technicians, and more people ready when you call. And it tells one clear story: a family company that has fueled communities since 1955.

Name for every truck, sign and office
At the end of the day, the name on the door doesn't matter. We're still going to service customers the same way we have.
Gerald Jones, Director of Wholesale Operations
One name. One team.
The same family behind it.
What stays the same.
The people you know. The same office and the same friendly voices on the phone.
Your drivers. The same trucks and technicians, with the same 24-hour emergency service.
Your account. The same delivery schedule, account number, budget plan, and history.
What changes.
Barber Oil & Propane is now Stuck Energy.
The Barber Oil & Propane name and everything it stands for become part of the Stuck Energy story.
Our family bought this business in 1989, and three generations of us have been proud to run it ever since. While our name is changing, everything else stays the same. Thank you for trusting us with the fueling needs of your homes and businesses.
