A note to our customers.
When the Stuck family purchased Jacobs Petroleum, we kept the Jacobs name. It meant something in this community, and it meant something to the family we bought the business from. We still believe that. After much thought, we have decided it is time to make a change.
Over the next year, the companies in our family will move to one shared name: Stuck Energy.
Why we are changing our name.
Jacobs Petroleum built a strong name here, and we are proud to carry that forward. However, one name puts all of our strength in one place. We want there to be cohesion and clarity for folks to see the full team behind the trucks, the service techs, and the office.

Nothing about the name on the truck changes who answers the phone or who shows up at your door.
What stays the same.
- The people you know. You'll see the same drivers, same service techs, and the same office staff.
- The service you count on, out of the same local shop you've trusted for years.
- Our customers are our priority. The way we take care of our customers and each other will stay the same.
What changes.
- Over the coming year, the Jacobs Petroleum name becomes Stuck Energy.
- You will see a new logo, new signs, and new truck wraps.
- We will have one website: StuckEnergy.com.
- We are making the switch in steps, with plenty of notice, so nothing feels rushed.

Entrants are eligible only if their delivery address is within the Stuck Energy service area. The prize is 100 gallons of heating oil or propane delivered to the winner’s address, to a tank and equipment that Stuck Energy can fill safely. Winners are responsible for any applicable taxes. Employees of Stuck Energy and their immediate family members are not eligible. Some limitations apply. Void where prohibited.
