Dick Stuck
Richard (Dick) Stuck was born in Oakland Maryland. His wife of over five decades, Ellen was born in Friendsville, Maryland. Dick attended Bethany College and Ellen attended West Liberty College. In 1977, Dick decided to leave a fourteen-year career with Exxon and he and Ellen purchased Jacobs Petroleum and moved their family which included daughter, Tracy and son, Steve from Baltimore, Maryland to Waynesburg, Pennsylvania. This decision was the beginning of a major journey as the company has grown tremendously through the years. Throughout this time the company has not forgotten the principles of honesty, integrity and hard work which Dick and Ellen model in their leadership. Both of them have put their heart and soul into the business and still are actively working at the company forty-three years later. Dick and Ellen have had amazing careers and have not only looked after the many employees that have worked with the company, but have also done many wonderful things for the community.
